We are still in our thoughts in Erlangen where we had a really wonderful weekend full of dancing, fun and meeting good friends. Many thanks to Andrea Forstner, Christian Forstner and Thomas Forstner for the enthusiasm and energy you always put into this amazing event.
A huge thank you to Pat Murphy for great workshops with interesting and fun sets and it’s a great honor that our dancers could also be part of the demonstration sets. We are speechless at how much we enjoyed the tremendous music by Abbey Trio – Ger Murphy, Andrew O Connell and Hughie Kennedy. Your amazing tunes put life into our feet and couldn’t leave anyone still.
Once again there was an unique carnival ceilí, we all flew Over the rainbow and looking at all the people having fun in so many colors and creative costumes was so refreshing after a long time of waiting to come back to the dancefloor. Thank you all for your warming applause after our short performance.
We are happy that we could come in a record number of 18 Sonasol dancers! When we add two little members of the future generation and seven more dancers from Prague, it might have been the biggest set dancing move ever.
We look forward to seeing you again in 2024.
